SKLURE has conducted many comprehensive researches focusing on the frontier of ecology and key eco-environmental problems and received a large number of research grants from the Central Government, National Natural Science Foundation, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and local governments as well as many international agencies. Numbers of high-level research results have been achieved, which provides scientific support for solution of many national eco-environmental problems and sustainable development of China. Since its establishment, more than 100 books and 2000 papers were published, and 36 science and technology awards were rewarded at national, provincial and ministerial levels, including one 1st-grade National Science and Technology Advancement Award, five 2nd-grade and 3rd-grade National Science and Technology Advancement Awards and two 2nd- grade National Natural Science Awards.
